Dear Friend of Keshet,

This past year Keshet Dance Company celebrated our 10th anniversary season by surpassing many exciting milestones. We provided nearly 3,000 free tickets to our mainstage performance series, awarded $17,000 in scholarships for community dance classes and pre-professional training, and increased our overall budget by 20%. We also brought two nationally recognized guest artists to Albuquerque to create original pieces for Keshet’s professional dancers and expanded our programming to include a post-release dance program, continuing our mentorship work with incarcerated youth through their release and parole. And to top it off, we were voted “Albuquerque’s Best Dance Company” in the Weekly Alibi’s Annual Readers Poll for the 10th year in a row. 

As you can see, Keshet Dance Company has grown tremendously in the past ten years and I have big plans for the next decade. My goal is to grow Keshet Dance Company into an internationally recognized and respected professional dance company while expanding our programming and commitment to the community.  In doing so, I plan to employ twelve full-time dancers who will tour internationally. I also plan to triple the number of students and scholarships we can provide to community members as well as the number of hours we spend working with homeless and incarcerated youth. And Keshet will continue to bring world-renowned dancers and choreographers to Albuquerque.

These are lofty goals, I know, but with your help we can make it happen. Keshet's "Supporting Cast" members receive regular updates on KDC performances and productions, invitations to post-performance receptions and galas, as well as recognition in our playbills and on our website.
