Lisa Nevada, Guest Repertory Company Member
Lisa is a native New Mexican and began dancing at locally at a young age. She became a student, volunteer and performer at Keshet Dance Company in 1996, the first year that the organization was founded. As of 2001 Lisa began teaching within the company as well as facilitating community outreach programs. In the spring of 2004, she was promoted to become a full time member of Keshet’s Repertory Company. In October of 2004 Lisa took on the role of Rehearsal Assistant for Keshet’s Nutcracker on the Rocks, and in 2005 she became the formal Rehearsal Director. Lisa has taught and performed with Keshet throughout New Mexico and the United States. Lisa received a B.A. in Dance from the University of New Mexico in 2002. Soon after graduating, she was hired to teach the Modern I class at UNM from 2002-2003. Lisa was a member of the Bill Evans Dance Company from 2002-2004, and has danced for Donna Jewell & Co. on several occasions. Lisa is also a member of Ecotone Physical Theatre Company and a founding member of the Put Attention Dance Collective. |

Kelsey Paschich, Repertory Company Member
Kelsey is originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico. She graduated Cum Laude with a BFA in dance from Point Park University. Kelsey has danced and performed with The Moscow State Classical Ballet (Moscow, Russia), DCDC2 (Dayton, Ohio), Thodos Dance Chicago (Chicago, IL), River North Chicago Dance Company (Chicago, IL), the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and most recently the Interdansa Dance Festival 2010 (Costa Brava, Spain). During this time Kelsey had the honor of performing in the ballets Don Quixote, Giselle, The Nutcracker, Spartacus, Stravinsky’ s L’ Histoire du Soldate, and Swan Lake. She was fortunate enough to perform in Russia, France, Spain, Switzerland, Italy, New York, Chicago, and many parts of the United States. She has worked with choreographers such as: Ann Reinking, Lucas Crandall, Robert Battle, Lar Lubavitch, Margo Sappington, Kevin O’ Day, Alan Heinline, Joanie Smith, Frank Chavez, Melissa Thodos, Zac Whittenburg, Curtis Uhlmann, Robert Moses, Gail Gilbert, and many more. Kelsey has a passion for performing, teaching, and choreographing. She has been teaching dance to all ages for many years. Kelsey is thrilled and honored to be a part of Keshet Dance Company. |

Kimberly White, Repertory Company Member
Kimberley, an Albuquerque native, returns from San Francisco where she was in the Alonzo King’s LINES Ballet Training Program. She began her early training at La Mesa Dance Academy in ballet, jazz and tap. At age 12, she began training at Dance Theatre of the Southwest and the University of New Mexico. She has attended summer programs at the Jillana School, Joffrey New York, Boston Ballet, Miami City Ballet and Alonzo King’s LINES Ballet. Kimberly’s training has allowed her to dance many leading roles including Clara, in The Nutcracker Ballet, Dark Angel and Russian lead in Balanchine’s Serenade. While at LINES Ballet she trained under and performed works by Alonzo King, Maurya Kerr, Robert Moses, Yannis Adoniou, and Karah Abiog. Kimberly continues to train and perform in many dance styles. Kimberly is honored to be a new member of Keshet’s Repertory Company. |

Kristy Medina, Repertory Company Apprentice
Kristy Medina, 17, is a senior at Eldorado High School. She has been dancing since she was three years old. She started at Keshet Dance Company when she was five years old, in 1999. Kristy started in Keshet’s Pre-Professional Program (KP3) when she was nine years old studying modern and ballet. That was the first year of the program. She is the only member of the program that has been in KP3since it began in 2003. Kristy currently studies dance through the University of New Mexico as part of her apprentice training. Kristy attended the Public Academy of Performing Arts (PAPA) in Albuquerque from 2005-2009. While there, she studied Jazz, Hip hop, Modern and Ballet. Kristy was a member of the Ensemble dance group at PAPA, which was the elite performing group in modern for the school. Kristy is most influenced by the Horton and Release technique styles of dance. Kristy hopes to pursue a dance degree at the University of New Mexico and fulfill her lifelong dream of being a professional dancer and traveling the world. |
