Keshet/KiMo Partnership
The Albuquerque City Council voted unanimously on June 1, 2009, to sign a unique agreement formalizing an exciting partnership between Keshet Dance Company and the City of Albuquerque. As the newly designated resident dance company of the KiMo, Keshet and the City work collaboratively to present a dynamic new series of arts and entertainment at the KiMo, including theatre, dance, music, lecture, film and community programming. Plans are underway for Keshet’s new home in the Freed building, adjacent to the KiMo, which will also provide additional and much needed stage support areas for the historic theatre.
